Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Production, the Production Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring timely production, maintaining high-quality standards, and facilitating efficient operations within the production department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adept at multitasking, and committed to upholding our brand's quality and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Production in maintaining and updating the project management tool (Monday), ensuring that order information and production statuses are accurately documented
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of orders and address any potential delays
- Communicate and work cross-functionally with sales teams regarding customer timelines
- Meet daily production timelines
- Maintain accurate records of stone certificates and CAD files, ensuring easy accessibility for the production team
- Keep comprehensive records of master CADs and individual final CAD orders.
- Assist with pre-sales and post-sales support, including processing diamond and gem returns
- Assist in streamlining production processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times
- Conduct rigorous quality control checks for each incoming and outgoing piece using detailed checklists
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, GIA Degree a plus
- Proficiency in Rhino / CAD a plus
- Knowledge of jewelry production processes and materials is preferred
- Previous experience in operations, supply chain or logistics a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with in project management tools

Schedule:
- Full-time in-person role located in Soho NYC
- Monday to Friday
- 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed hours
Salary Description:
The salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, not including discretionary bonus. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s job duties, experience, and expertise. We will also consider higher level candidates and salary will be adjusted accordingly.
