Qualified candidates would have the following:
-Culinary school degree or previous experience in kitchens (preferred not required)
-At least 2 years experience in a high volume line cook position
-Solid punctuality, positive attitude, and willingness to grow and learn
-Be able to effectively communicate and take direction from supervisors
-Ability to understand and follow precise recipes to create consistent dishes
-Experience with high volume and fast paced environment
-Care about quality, cleanliness, and strong attention to detail

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are prepared and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support banquet operations by assisting with setup, service, and breakdown as required.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service.
- Willingness to assist where needed, demonstrating a helpful demeanor towards guests and staff alike.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bussing techniques, is a plus.
