Job Summary
We are a Small-Town QUICK SERVICE, not fast food, Ice Cream & Burger Shop. We are well known for our endless flavor options & Outstanding Burgers like the Spicy Bacon Cheeseburger, Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches & delicious sides. We value high quality food products. Our “Top-of-the-Line” Premium all Beef Brisket hamburger patties are ALWAYS FRESH and NEVER FROZEN & made to order for example. We expect excellence in our food, we also expect “Top-of-the-Line” quality customer service, honesty, reliability & positive attitudes from our employees towards each, oneself & others.
We are a family-owned business. Managers are present and deeply involved & have extensive knowledge of the food industry as well as all day-to-day functions of our beloved & historic Ice Cream & Burger restaurant business known as the Shake Out.
Being a small business with table, counter & a drive thru, there are rushes through the day & night. Employees are expected to work together at a fast, helpful & friendly pace & always with a smile. We treat customers & fellow employees with the highest standard of respect and dignity.

We will train for all responsibilities & positions which include but not limited to:
-Assisting and/or acting as “Person in Charge” -Being reliable, dependable & honest
-Keeping building clean -Following & giving directions
-Assisting with stock levels of products -Working well with fellow employees
-Assisting with inventory -Organizing newly delivered inventory
-Keeping & staying on task -Be willing & able to work all positions
-Running the shift smoothly & efficiently -Opening & closing the Restaurant
-Attend Staff & Training requirements -Open & close the Register
-Managing money correctly & HONESTLY -Preform duties with politeness and tact
*Meet & exceed ALL food & health code laws, regulations, requirements & standards to protect our customers, co-workers and self by being clean, professional, kind, helpful and assertive but helpful, as well as providing an example the far exceed the “Normal” standards of an outstanding employee as a Team Shift Leader.

Probationary Training Pay: $7.25 per hour
