Shake the House Party & Events is looking for a talented and energetic Freelance Photographer to capture the excitement of our fun parties and corporate events. This is a great side gig for photographers who enjoy working in lively environments, telling stories through their lens, and creating high-quality, engaging visuals. Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photos at a variety of corporate and private events, including parties, networking functions, and celebrations.
- Edit and enhance images using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or other editing software to ensure stunning final results.
- Engage with guests to create candid, posed, and action shots that showcase the event atmosphere.
- Work closely with event organizers and clients to understand their vision and deliver photos that meet their expectations.
- Provide basic art direction to ensure the best possible shots in different lighting and settings.
- Deliver final, edited photos promptly within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain and organize a portfolio of work to showcase your event photography skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends, photography techniques, and new equipment to enhance your craft.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event, portrait, or lifestyle photography with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop) for photo editing and retouching.
- Experience with flash photography and event lighting techniques.
- Strong communication and people skills to interact with clients and event attendees.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while capturing key moments.
- Reliable and professional, with the ability to deliver high-quality images on time.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as needed.
- Videography skills are a plus but not required.
