What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Cocktail Waitress position at Shakers Cigar Bar & Hangman Tours?
Milwaukee’s warmer seasons are upon us and Shakers is looking for experienced servers to add to our team. Our hours are expanding and our full-service rooftop bar will be opening soon. We are looking for both daytime and nighttime servers.
We have immediate openings for experienced Servers with positive wine-service knowledge who are interested in customer satisfaction and in turning sales.
Shakers has long been known for its outside the box application to food and beverage offerings. Think of lovable Pirates more than the Stepford Wives Automatons one generally finds in Milwaukee’s eateries. As a legitimate destination location in the Midwest, we cast a large net for the non-traditional Epicure & Foodie. In our long history, we have been awarded virtually every on-premise award and recognition possible by the national and regional press.
Yes, as in many parts of Europe, tobacco is still an accepted part of gastronomy at Shakers as the City’s only licensed Cigar Bar.

Servers are expected to provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to our patrons. We pride ourselves on our phenomenal team of bar staff and do our part to make all customers feel welcome and comfortable in our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Take and serve drink orders from customers.
- Inform customers of daily specials and available promotions.
- Communicate with bar and kitchen staff to ensure orders are ready when they reach the bar.
- Clean and wash bar equipment and tables, restock bar items.
- Curate premium cigar orders
- Learn and use our high-end espresso machine for coffee orders
- Manage credit card transactions.
Full-service restaurant experience or actual serving experience at an upscale bar is required.
