What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Financial Officer position at Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community?
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field is required, with a master's degree and/or CPA strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in progressively responsible professional accounting experience, preferably in tribal government, government business administration, finance, accounting or related field; with progressive leadership experience. This individual must possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, GASB, FASB, and other laws and regulations pertaining to financial accounting.
