Job Overview: Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and restoring the quality of all SMSC surface water and groundwater within the rules, ordinances, guidelines and policies established by the General Council, the Business Council and the federal law.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in hydrology, geology, biology or related field.
- Three years of related work experience with extensive knowledge of water science.
- Advanced education may substitute for years of experience.
- Background in conducting research activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency to include word and data processing, GIS and scripting languages.
- Must be detail oriented and disciplined to perform routine tasks under adverse conditions.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
