- Train School Assessment Coordinators on mandated testing protocols
- Coordinate building testing schedules for all required assessments
- Actively problem-solve issues for accommodations for ACT, ACCESS and MCA’s
- Renew all annual tests
- Plan for annual platform updates & prepare various stakeholders for changes
- Coordinate with the Technology Department
- Ensure devices function properly for testing platforms
- Resolve technology issues within testing programs
- Update and maintain the Data and Testing website for the District
- Upload ACT student scores to Infinite Campus and distribute and communicate annual reports
- Generate reports for Academic Awards & Scholarships
- Generate reports for programs (ADSIS, A & I, Indian Ed, AVID, Title I, etc.)

Coordinate and manage all testing systems used by the District

Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a Data and Assessment Coordinator to join the Learning, Teaching, and Equity (LTE) team.
Job Summary:
The Data and Testing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all required State testing, as well as the collection, preparation, analysis, and presentation of data to support various educational initiatives and stakeholder needs. This role involves identifying and gathering data from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance, and transforming it into usable formats for analysis by leadership teams, departments, and the Superintendent/School Board.
This position requires strong problem-solving skills to identify and address current challenges, using data to improve processes and outcomes. The Data and Testing Coordinator will also be tasked with effectively communicating complex data findings through clear reports and visualizations to drive continuous improvement and support strategic decision-making.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Data Scientist - 70% of the time
Assessment Coordinator - 30% of the time
