Program Description:
Our Middle Level Summer Learning Adventure Program is designed for our rising 6th - 8th grade students to provide an extra boost for success moving into the upcoming school year. Each week of the 5-week program will be an active and engaging experience centered around one Shakopee Academy. Speakers, challenges, and contests will all be part of this academy-themed experience! In addition, students will receive math, literacy, and social emotional learning support to become a more confident and organized learner!

Position Description:
Paraeducator, Targeted Services at West Middle School.
Primary responsibilities
A) working with classroom teachers to provide behavior and academic support to students.
B) working with program coordinator to supervise students student during arrival, departure, and lunch.
Program Information:
Days: Monday - Thursday
Dates: July 7th – August 7th
Student hours: 8:30 am - 2:00 pm
Pay Rate: $20.36/hr.
Qualifications:
Position requires a H.S. diploma. Prefer some previous experience in working with students with special needs.
Working Conditions:
Classroom, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, standing, sitting
