Physical Education Teacher - LTS, 0.47 FTE - Sun Path Elementary

Shakopee Public Schools is looking for a Long Term Substitute (LTS) - 0.47 FTE - Physical Education (PE) Teacher for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year at Sun Path Elementary (through June 6, 2025).

Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability and creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members. If full time (1.0) status is desired, other duties can be assigned to bridge the gap.

Qualifications:

• Valid MN teaching license in Physical Education and Health
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff

Salary can range anywhere between $50,000 to $118,444 depending upon education level and experience.
