Duties:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with patient care is a plus
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory care is highly desirable
- Strong caregiving skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients and their families
- Understanding of dementia care techniques is beneficial
