This position is for the Night Shift : Monday through Thursday, 3 : 00pm to 1 : 00am
The Quality Control Inspector II is responsible for routine (incoming, in-process, first article and final) QC inspection of raw materials, subassemblies and finished product. All receiving, in-process, first article and final inspections are performed in accordance with documented procedures and specifications. The QC Inspector II shall ensure that inspection equipment is properly calibrated, handled and maintained. The QC Inspector II documents inspection results and releases acceptable product for use. The QC Inspector II identifies and segregates nonconforming product / processes for disposition by the Material Review Board.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspection– Performing first article, receiving, in-process and final inspections in accordance with documented procedures.
- Assisting other personnel with inspection setups and questions.
- Process Control – Maintain product identification and traceability requirements throughout the inspection processes.
- Nonconformance Handling – Identification, documentation, evaluation, and segregation of nonconforming product pending review and disposition by the Material Review Board.
- Statistical Techniques – Employment of the appropriate statistical sampling techniques for inspection by attributes (ANSI / ASQ Z1.4).
