    • Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a strong background in construction estimating, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Responsibilities

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize software tools such as McCormick estimating system for accurate pricing and documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary data for estimates.
  • Negotiate pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible rates.
  • Monitor project budgets and assist in cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure clarity on project scope and expectations.

    • Experience

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction site operations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using estimating software such as McCormick estimating system or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing resources efficiently.
  • Familiarity with cost control practices within the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.

    Pay : $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

    • Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
