We are a growing and well-established company headquartered in Scranton, PA. For almost 30 years our skilled teams have been managing and operating rail freight terminals in the northeast. We are currently looking for teammates in our Williamsport, PA location.
Equipment Operator - Conveyor/Weighmaster
Responsible for the operation of equipment used in the trans loading of product from railcar to truck.
Responsibilities
- Inbound inspection of railcars
- Inspection and maintenance of facility
- Inspections and maintenance of equipment
- Operations of; Conveyor, Scale, and Computer
- Accurate daily reporting through use of; templates, emails, computer software
- Report any incidents of equipment damage and personal injury
- Comply with all loading, securement, and inspection rules
- Organize and file daily paperwork
- Perform other routine duties and able to assist the team as needed
- Promote safety by following all company rules and reports violations and unsafe practices to appropriate management
- Recognizes the importance working safely; wears appropriate PPE, attends and participates in safety meetings and safety training sessions, performs duties according to established safety procedures, and when appropriate raises safety concerns including the unsafe actions of others to a manager/management.
Conveyor Operations
- Set up cars and equipment for trans loading efficiently and safely
- Check clearances and give signals to Operators and Drivers
- Prepare and maintain documentation of each truckload
- Inform supervisors of any malfunctions or repairs that need to be managed on an immediate basis

Requirements
- Position requires extensive outdoor work year round
- Must have the ability to bend, lift, push or pull up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Work safely and follow Safety Rules, Department Procedures, and directives
- Pass drug test
- Be able to vertically climb rail cars
