Summary:
The Sports Management Intern will assist with the day-to-day operations of The Players' League, a summer collegiate league. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sports management and a desire to learn about the inner workings of a professional sports organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and execution of league events, including games, tournaments, and special events
- Manage team travel and accommodations
- Coordinate with host families for visiting teams
- Maintain league records and statistics
- Assist with marketing and promotions
- Manage social media accounts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in sports management, business, or a related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with social media management
- Passion for sports and a strong interest in sports management
