The Director of Operations at Shalom Christian Academy provides oversight to general functions of the school by supervising several departments - finances, transportation, buildings and grounds, technology, human resources. This person is responsible for directing actions and department managers to improve efficiency and reduce costs as needed.
Reports to:
The Director of Operations reports to the Administrator, and his/her performance is reviewed by the administrator.

- Recognize the role of parents as primarily responsible before God for their children's education and be prepared to assist them in that task.
Essential Functions
- Define, implement and revise operational policies and guidelines for the operations of Shalom Christian Academy.
- Provide oversight to the following departments: business, facility, human resources, transportation and technology.
- Work with department heads to develop and manage the budget.
- Work with department heads to increase customer service and implement best practices.
- Ensure operational compliance.
- Provide oversight to the procurement of material and resources.
- Is a member of and active participant with the administrative team
- Involved in the development of new growth initiatives
