Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Inventory Specialist. In this position you will be responsible for all material issues and returns throughout the company.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry to help maintain accurate order, relief and accounting records
- Assist with running reports, matching invoices to orders, and finding discrepancies
- Assist with equipment move orders and daily reporting
- Assist with service truck warehouse assignments, including tracking equipment and material to make sure we are receiving and relieving correctly. This will require coordination with area branches
- Assist with other inventory duties as needed
- Prior knowledge of fire protection and/or fab shop material helpful, but not required
- Candidate must possess analytical aptitude
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Candidate must be accurate, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organized and a self-starter
- Confidentiality must be maintained
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
