Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable sales and estimating professional to join our team. This role combines client engagement with technical expertise to provide tailored solutions for seal coating and asphalt projects. You’ll manage everything from prospecting and inspections to delivering accurate estimates and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and on-site visits.
- Evaluate pavement conditions, identify defects, and recommend the best repair or replacement solutions.
- Prepare detailed project estimates, including materials, labor, and timelines, using industry-specific tools.
- Respond promptly to incoming leads and proactively pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at local networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings.
- Track performance metrics, such as sales targets and client retention rates.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or estimating within the construction, paving, or seal coating industry.
- Strong knowledge of seal coating, asphalt paving, and pavement maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and estimating software.
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to client sites.
- Flexibility to work 5–6 days per week, with occasional weekend shifts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing project bids and preparing competitive proposals.
- Familiarity with local suppliers, material costs, and subcontractor coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations and follow-ups.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and estimates.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
