What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL B Driver Roll Off Driver/ Straight Truck with Tanker Endorsement position at Shamrock Environmental?
OverviewGreat LOCAL opportunity for CDL A or B Drivers with tanker endorsements and Roll Off ExperienceResponsibilitiesWill be working primarily local (2 hr radius)
- Operate commercial motor vehicles. Roll Off truck driver role open .
- Other trucks you will be trained on such as Vacuum ,Tankers, Box and Dump Trucks,
- Ensure the truck remains in proper and safe working order and that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis
- Maintain daily e-logs, safety & inspection reports, expense reports, project reports while ensuring they are properly completed
- Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects
- Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met
- Comply with all Federal, State and local laws regulating safe driving and the safe and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers
- Ability to be on call for emergency response (on rotational schedule basis)
- Ability to perform work based on task conditions and hazards
- Maintain appropriate driver's license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements with no restrictionsQualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker
- Clear Driving Record
- Experience driving manual transmission only.
- History of DOT compliance and safety is required
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to travel overnight as required on occasion
- Frequently lift 40-50 pounds
- Willingness & ability to frequently climb ladders, stairs etc.
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screening and background check
- Must currently possess both Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements prior to joining the Shamrock team.
- Valid history of job stability.
