What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Manager position at Shamrock Roofing?
Shamrock Roofing is an established roofing and construction company servicing the metro-Kansas City area since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest and now servicing areas in Arkansas, Texas, Des Moines, Lincoln, Omaha, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Denver and St. Louis.
We are now looking to fill a Fleet Manager position. This position is responsible for the overall efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of a company's vehicles, including managing vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and compliance with regulations.
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duties May Include:
- Be trained by our third party financing partners to be the main point of contact company wide for everything finance
- Be the point of contact for training Project Managers (our sales team) on all third party financing options available to homeowners and businesses
- Be the go to point of contact for homeowners if needed (Less frequent duty as this is the main duty of Project Managers)
- Managing and organizing incoming and outgoing emails in the financing inbox
- Answering incoming phone calls on the financing help desk line
- All other duties assigned by manager
Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-Time In Office Position
- Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm an hour for lunch
- Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance after 30 days of employment
- PTO accrual after 30 Days of employment
- 401K after 6 months of employment
- Compensation Range: $50k-$55k based on experience
Requirements:
- Must have customer service skills
- Must be persistent and have a “won't take no for an answer” attitude
- Must be a problem solver; capable of figuring things out and finding new avenues to approach issues to achieve the desired outcome
- Working knowledge of G Suite is a plus
- Prior experience is a plus
- Quick thinking and adaptability
- A positive “can-do” attitude
- Great with hard deadlines
- Strong leadership and communication skills .
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws .
- 2-3 years minimum Experience in fleet management or logistics
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of driver management and safety protocols
