What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2025 - Transportation Safety Intern position at Shamrock?
The Shamrock Students Professional Internship Program is an 11-week program focused on hands-on training in a variety of opportunities throughout the Shamrock Foods Company enterprise. As a Shamrock Student, you will be a part of a cohort of interns focused on real projects that impact the business. In addition to the work, you will do to support your department, you'll get to know your fellow interns through a variety of collaborative projects and events.
Program dates : May 19, 2025 through August 1, 2025
Essential Duties :
- Provide support for the transportation department in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist Transportation safety with various safety related tasks which are subject to change.
- Assisting with office related task of scanning documents, organizing training documents, maintaining safety spreadsheets and charts, Maintaining associate safety files, safety related investigations as needed.
- Safety observations in the yard and reporting observations and document safety needs and success to safety leadership.
- Other duties as assigned
