Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000 /year
Position Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM with an hour for lunch
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and attorneys to manage and adhere to deadlines.
- Advocate for clients, aiding in informed decision-making.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other relevant parties.
- Manage case assignments, monitor progress, and maintain organized case files.
- Handle discovery and exhibits.
- Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting documents for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
- Digest and flag issues and inconsistencies found throughout vital case points.
- Assist clients in obtaining medical care and support services.
- Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations.
Skills
- REQUIRED: 2 Years Experience as a Litigation Paralegal (Litigation experience in either family law or personal injury preferred)
- REQUIRED: Paralegal certificate
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
- Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Compassion for clients and a strong desire to assist
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
