Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Kitchen Supervisor at the award-winning Playa Largo Resort & Spa in the Florida Keys. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.
- Establishes, maintains, and trains standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.
- Assists with training employees; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent, certification of culinary training preferred.
- Safe food handling certificate.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety policies and operating procedures.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
