Job Description:
Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.
Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Ensure equipment is used correctly, safely, and as intended.
Develop, maintain, and train standards for operations and safe working conditions in the department.
Assist with employee training, performance evaluation, and resolving complaints and issues.
Address guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Plan, prepare, set up, and provide quality food service in all areas of food production according to standards and specifications.
Direct, train, and monitor kitchen staff performance.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Effective communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
- High school graduate or equivalent; culinary training certification preferred.
- Safe food handling certificate required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus.
