Packaging & Labeling
Weigh, portion, and package cannabis flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, and other products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Apply labels accurately to all packaged products, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Verify that all required product information, including batch numbers, potency, and warning labels, is correctly displayed.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Control
Adhere to all state cannabis packaging laws and regulations, including child-resistant packaging and proper labeling.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity and safety.
Conduct quality checks on packaging materials and finished products to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of packaging activities and report any compliance concerns to supervisors.
Operational Efficiency
Work quickly and efficiently to meet production quotas and daily packaging goals while maintaining high accuracy.
Assist with inventory tracking and restocking packaging materials as needed.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.
Attention to Detail & Safety
Inspect products for defects, contaminants, or inconsistencies before packaging.
Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow all workplace safety guidelines to prevent contamination, spills, or product loss.
This role requires precision, efficiency, and compliance awareness to ensure that cannabis products are packaged accurately and safely for consumer use.
