What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shango Brand Ambassador position at Shango?
As a Shango Brand Ambassador, we want consumers to feel comfortable talking to our Brand Ambassadors about the products and benefits by provide guidance and education on effects, benefits, and overall experience of our products. Brand Ambassadors should be highly motivated, outgoing, friendly, and have an interest in the cannabis industry. The pop-ups will be held at different dispensaries, so outgoing personalities and those who can comfortably talk to others are strongly encouraged to apply!
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be the face of the brand at dispensaries and events, exuding confidence, personality, and friendliness towards consumers.
- Always represent the brand in a professional manner, adhere to uniform guidelines, and refrain from cell phone usage during activations.
- Work closely with sales staff to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies when requested
- Execute promotions
- Transport all promotional material to and from pop-up events.
- Ensure all customer feedback is relayed accurately to the Sales team.
Product Knowledge
- Become an expert on the brand and product, be able to answer many different questions consumers may have.
- Educate customers and patient consultants (budtenders) on our product and the Shango brand.
- Attend brand training to learn about brand and product, stay up to date on product and industry trends/news.
Safety and Compliance
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and professional working environment.
- Advise patients on proper safety measures to follow when consuming our products.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be an Arizona resident with no felony convictions, successfully pass an extensive background check and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous retail experience: Cannabis experience preferred.
- Must have a professional, well-groomed appearance and demeanor
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must maintain compassion for the Cannabis community
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to obtain a Facility Agent Card
- We are looking for any promotional experience
- Pay: Starting at $20 per hour / based on experience
