Nestled on the private Yanuca Island, Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji offers the essence of an exclusive island hideaway yet is conveniently connected to the mainland by a causeway. The 442 ocean view guest rooms take their inspiration from a traditional Fijian village featuring rich elements of local culture and nature.
We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper to join our team.
As the Executive Housekeeper, we rely on you to:
Ensure that the guest check-in/check-out, and Front Desk Operations are handled efficiently with providing the best of care and services to Resort guests
Maintains and enforces all quality, service standards and procedures for Housekeeping Service
Direct and schedule staff roster in accordance with events, festival days and periods to ensure adequate staff on duty to provide efficient and quality service
Review guest feedback from different platforms and drive outstanding results by taking initiative to uplift service levels when necessary
maintain Housekeeping Standards & Procesures in keeping with brand direction
Perform any other duties and special projects as assigned by Supervisors.
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum 5 years of Housekeeping experience with at 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably grained in a luxury hotel enviroment
Complete knowledge of Shangri-La’s Quality Standards, Service Standards and Group Specifications.
Complete knowledge of Shangri-La’s standard operating policies and procedures.
international and Island based experience working in a luxury Resort.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
Strong problem solving skills and able to work under pressure and independant
Good Leadership skills and communications skills.
Is self-driven, goal-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo
Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
Enjoys working as part of a team
Has good interpersonal and communication skills
