What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Internal Audit (Construction & Development) position at Shangri-La?
We are looking
for someone who has / is :
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business, quantity surveying, or related disciplines. A masters degree in surveying is preferred.
- A Chartered Professional of Quantity Surveyor (QS) with MRICS or HKIS is an advantage.
- Prior audit knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are beneficial but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction / property development audit, preferably with global organizations or professional services firms. Lodging / hospitality industry experience would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years in a managerial role, demonstrating leadership and team coaching abilities.
- Excellent time and project management skills. Experience in leading co-sourcing projects with external consultants is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, independent and detail-oriented with effective problem-solving skills.
- Fast learner with a willing attitude, resilience and a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Strong analytical skills to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Willing to travel for business to both China and non-China regions.
- Excellent spoken and written English; strong command of Mandarin is essential and proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
