While this is a remote position, you must reside in or around New Orleans. This is an amazing opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new location for this existing company! You will be an integral part of growing this location and making it whatever you want it to be!

Summary

Are you outgoing and have never met a stranger? Do you have experience in hospitality and know the New Orleans area? This Account Executive position is the champion for national sales and operations support. In this role, you will research available products, send quotes, upsell where necessary, and follow through with the operations team to ensure the company’s products or services are delivered on time, on budget, and up to the client’s standards. This role requires diving into multiple projects and reaching out to existing clients with new products to retain them as repeat customers. You will meet with clients, prepare quotes and close the deals!

Job Description for Account Executive :

The Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining a full working knowledge of the company’s inventory and service offerings nationwide. The Account Executive must have great people skills, be detail-orientated and comfortable working on various projects at once and be able to organize their time effectively. The individual must be comfortable speaking to clients to collect discovery information and have the product knowledge, creativity for alternate suggestions, and financial acumen to put together a viable solution to propose to the end client.

Candidates should be organized, and efficient, have excellent communication skills, and have the ability to multi-task and work under deadlines.

Responsibilities for Account Executive :

  • Communicating with clients and gathering information about a project’s scope, budgets, and timelines
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of business.
  • Preparing and presenting bids
  • Become proficient in salesforce and utilize this program to track, monitor, and grow accounts and sales.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly game plans.
  • Qualifying inbound leads and prospects via phone and email and spending 2-3 days in the field for meetings and networking.
  • Organizing regular client meetings to ensure excellent customer service
  • Holding virtual demonstrations with the end goal of earning a prospect’s business
  • Uncovering and understanding a company’s needs
  • Attending trade shows and hosting customer events
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detailed attention to costs and overall budgets
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The ability to learn and master project management systems / software and CRM
  • Research-driven to find solutions for unique event requests
  • Flexible schedule allowing for attendance outside of standard working hours
  • Satisfactory motor vehicle record & proof of valid insurance with reliable transportation
  • Being local to the New Orleans area is a plus
  • Willingness to attend local chapter events and meetings for MPI, ILEA, NACE, etc.

Skills / Qualifications :

Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self- Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, and Motivation for Sales.

Experience : Must have 2-3 years of relevant sales experience

Education : A college degree is preferred but not required.
