Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Financial Analyst will provide oversight of all the financial activities of Shannon Medical Center Pharmacy. The candidate must be able to work independently and solve problems which have significant impact to Pharmacy financials and its strategic plan. They will share responsibility for the operational effectiveness within the Pharmacy Department to ensure that high quality financial services are delivered in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and professional standards. The Financial Analyst will analyze the financial / economic benefits and cost impact of new and existing business initiatives, prepare recommendations and business models to assist the organization in improving resource allocation / utilization, and provide analytical support to resolve operating and finance issues.
