Job Summary |
Performs functions of pharmacy technician under supervision of pharmacist. Assists Pharmacist in safety and accurately preparing and distributing medications to patients. Performs designated technical functions to facilitate pharmacy operations in a manner consistent with organizational standards and values. Abides by government, state and local rules and regulations. Certification as a pharmacy technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred.
