Job Summary |
The psychiatric team lead is responsible for providing clinical leadership on patients presenting with mental health needs. The psychiatric acute inpatient team lead is responsible for the coordination and supervision of behavioral health services for patients that present to the emergency room or are hospitalized in the inpatient units. The team lead participates in policy and procedural reviews, staff education and assists in standardizing processes to ensure consistency of operations. The psychiatric team lead monitors procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with mental health law. The psychiatric team lead will provide direct patient services. The team lead will function as a multidisciplinary team member and will work collaboratively with psychiatry, behavioral health, emergency services, and the acute inpatient settings as well as community partners.
