About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Shannon Medical Center. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough ultrasound examinations, utilizing advanced imaging modalities and techniques.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with radiologists, nurses, and other hospital staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and contributing to departmental goals.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in ultrasound technology, incorporating new knowledge into daily practice.
Requirements:
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex information and make sound decisions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
