Purpose of this position
The purpose of this position is to Supervise, coordinate, and perform business office functions and to operate the business office in an effective, efficient manner to operate the facility in a financially sound manner. To maintain admission and financial systems in compliance with Federal, State and local requirements. Must be committed to person-centered care by embracing and following the facilitys goal of person-centered care by demonstrating and being supportive of individual resident choice and controlled resident-preferred routines in all aspect of daily living.

Qualifications
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year or technical school or one or more years related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to organize, plan and supervise work flow
Strong planning, an organizational and supervisory skill to ensure all work is completed.
Knowledge of health care, billing, Medicare/Medicaid and employee relations
Ability to read and write, speak and understand English.
Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and facility staff
Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
Working knowledge of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets and billing software
Strong planning and organizational skills to ensure all work is completed.
