Job Summary
The Certified Medication Technician will be responsible for following facility policies and procedures to implement medication orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Support resident choice and preferred routines in daily living activities.
Requirements
A State registered or certified nursing assistant, who has successfully completed the State certification course for medication assistants, is required for this position.
