Purpose of this position
The purpose of this position is to provide direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
Must be committed to person-centered care by embracing and following the facilities' and company's goal of person-centered care, demonstrating and being supportive of individual resident choice and controlled resident preferred routines in all aspects of daily living.
Qualifications
- Meet all health requirements imposed by law
- Completion of a nursing assistant certification program or proof of valid and current certification
- Long-term care experience desired
- Ability to read and write, speak and understand English
