Job Description

Shapeless Studio is a boutique architecture and interior design firm with a street level office on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. We are searching for a candidate to fill our Studio Manager position, which includes several core responsibilities, with plenty of room to grow into other areas, based on the candidate's specific strengths and interests. This in-office position can be part-time or full-time, between 20-40 hours.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Experience with Quickbooks Online
Some familiarity with architecture and / or interior design industry, or a similar field

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Bookkeeping : Paying bills and processing payrolls, bookkeeping with Quickbooks Online and BigTime (time / expense / invoicing)

Managing daily office, including ordering supplies, watering plants and scheduling cleaner

Organizing one or two outings for the firm each year (museums, galleries, tours)

POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Marketing : maintain social media, pitch to media outlets, update website (Squarespace)

New work : Track new work inquiries, prepare proposals for new projects

Billings and Financials : Preparing and sending project invoices, analyze project profitability

Purchasing : Processing and tracking orders for interior design projects
