We are seeking Maintenance Technician for our Multi-family Communities located in Carlsbad. The successful candidates will have a high level of skill in general apartment maintenance and repairs. We are looking for individuals with good communications skills, attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism to interact effectively with residents, peers and the management team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing timely and courteous daily response to resident maintenance requests, property clean up and general property maintenance. Ability to diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, painting, exterior structural, and appliances.
Qualifications:
Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledgeable in all facets of maintenance including but not limited to basic knowledge of tools, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, painting, service requests, appliance repair and apartment make-readies.
Detailed oriented, ability to interact effectively with residents, peers and management.
Works well with little to no supervision and as part of a team.
Schedule will include on-call emergency responses. HVAC/EPA Certification a plus.
