We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our new Multi-family Community located in Santa Clarita. The successful candidate will have a high level of skill in general apartment maintenance and repairs. We are looking for an individual with good communications skills, attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism to interact effectively with residents, peers, and the management team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing timely and courteous daily response to resident maintenance requests, turning units to the highest standard of excellence, property clean up and general property maintenance. Ability to diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, painting, exterior structural, and appliances.
Qualifications:
3 year’s previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledgeable in all facets of maintenance including but not limited to basic knowledge of tools, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repair, painting, service requests, appliance repair and apartment make-ready’s.
Detailed oriented, ability to interact effectively with residents, peers, and management.
Works well with little to no supervision and as part of a team.
The work schedule will include weekends, as well as a rotation schedule of on-call emergency responses.
