Role Overview :
As an Architectural Designer / Architect at Shapiro & Company Architects, you will :
Projects : Take ownership of residential projects from conception through completion, ensuring high standards of design and execution.
Client Interaction : Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Design Excellence : Apply your expertise to develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing residential designs.
Independent & Collaborative Work : Balance working independently with collaborating effectively with other team members and disciplines.
Project Management : Oversee all phases of residential projects, including planning, design, and implementation.
What We’re Looking For :
Design Expertise : Proven experience in residential architectural design. Showcase your talents and passion.
Strong Communication Skills : Ability to clearly articulate design ideas and project updates to clients and team members.
Passion & Drive : A genuine enthusiasm for residential architecture and a proactive attitude towards your professional development.
Technical Skills : Proficient in AutoCAD and possible Revit experience, with a solid understanding of architectural concepts, spatial relationships, and building systems.
Organizational Abilities : Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with Building Codes and Zoning regulations.
Your Background :
Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field is required. An accredited architectural degree is preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with residential wood framed construction required. Licensed Architect or on the path to licensure is preferred.
