SMS is seeking a Patient Scheduler to join our growing team. Our team provides exceptional care and customer service to the people that matter most - the patients.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:
- Monday Friday
- 8:00am-4:30pm (this is flexible)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls to schedule patients for PET/CT exams
Complete patient screening form with patient
Educate patient on the exam and exam preparation
Manage and place orders for exam medication
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior pre-authorization knowledge/experience
Proven customer service skills
Previous patient scheduling, call center or reception experience preferred
Familiarity with Medical Terminology a plus
Able to work in a high volume/fast-paced environment
Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
Previous computer experience
