As a Remote Cash Services Specialist at Community Health Systems – Shared Services Center- Fort Smith, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our purpose to help people get well and live healthier by providing safe, quality healthcare, building enduring relationships with our patients, and providing value for the people and communities we serve. The orientation and training is Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CST for approximately 3 weeks. The normal working hours at Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm CST.
Required Experience:
- 1 Year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or business office.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in revenue cycle structure and process
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a working knowledge of all essential host and workflow systems and websites. (30%)
- Ensure compliance with productivity standards set forth by SSC Leadership. (20%)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards set forth by SSC Leadership. (20%)
- Identify, research, & resolve variances in a timely manner. (20%)
- Maintain open and productive communication with others, both within the SSC and external, in a timely manner. (10%)
