Experience Required: * Minimum 2 years full-time Obstetrics specific experience although 5 yrs. experience preferred, within the past 23 months, with a minimum of 3 of those years occurring at a tertiary level facility * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) and STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Labs, and Emotional Support), Fetal Heart Monitoring are mandatory for Obstetrical/Gynecology duty sections. * Certified RNC-OB preferred * Planning, scheduling and providing comprehensive antepartum and postpartum nursing care for women and newborns in an Obstetrical Unit.
Education Required: Nurses shall have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. A minimum of twelve (12) months relevant experience within the last twenty-three (23) months is preferred .All nurses shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license within the Continental United States throughout the term of this contract .Nurse Specialty Board Certification is preferred for each appropriate duty section at the time of employment and throughout the term of this contract. Nurses shall possess a valid state driver’s license throughout the duration of this contract. Nurses shall have the physical ability to perform assigned tasks, are able to lift fifty (50) pounds and are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various departments, including ER and Level I Trauma Center.
- Monitor and assess vital signs and health status of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform catheterization procedures when necessary.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Assist in acute pain management strategies for patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness practices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience in occupational health, pediatrics, or emergency nursing is preferred.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and catheterization procedures.
- Familiarity with acute pain management techniques and protocols.
- Experience with dermal fillers or sonography is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- A valid nursing license is required.
