What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transitional Home Support Staff member position at SHARING HOPE MINISTRY?
Patsy’s Place Transitional Home is a Christ-centered program that works with post-offending women who are in recovery from addiction. Support staff members must be willing to work evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts. Estimated 20-36 hours per week with an average of 8 hours paid while sleeping.
Qualified applicants must model personal behavior consistent with program guidelines, be able to provide Spiritual support, and pass random drug and alcohol testing.
Essential duties include:
- Evening or weekend supervision of Patsy’s Place Transitional Home and its participants
- Providing transportation
- Ensuring compliance with policy and rules
- Modeling Christ-centered principles in all facets of the program
- Performing duties required of a transitional home
Required Skills or experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Have a current Texas Driver’s License and a good driving record
- Strong work ethic, compassionate and organized
- Must maintain high moral and ethical standards
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the work environment
- Must have a personal commitment to Christ
