Job Summary:
Loading and unloading trucks effectively to keep up with shipping and receiving demands. Transporting materials to different locations within the facility in a timely manner. Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading trucks effectively to keep up with shipping and receiving demands.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Inspecting vehicles before shift begins and filling out daily check list.
• Operating and managing technical equipment on forklift efficiently.
• Monitor items being loaded for debris that could be harmful to machine or lower quality of product.
• Must be trained according to company safety standards.
• Load hoppers with assigned material for production
• Track load count per material processed.
• Move material to assigned bunkers or staging area.
• Report incidents/accidents/near miss to shift supervisor.
• Machine Operating as needed.
• Identifying workspace safety hazards.
• Complying to all OSHA, MS and safety management standards.
• Meet daily production requirements.
• Daily clean up as instructed.
• Fill out all necessary documentation per shift and place in designated areas.
• Attend weekly production meetings.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Participate in ongoing training requirements.
• Comply with all company policies according to employee handbook during onboarding.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Preemployment requirements: Drug screening, Background Check, and PFT Test (Measures Breathing- Company Pays for Test)
• Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Operate a Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Possess a “continuous improvement” attitude.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promotes a safe work environment.
• Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and complete simple records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Forklift certification per (OSHA) standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.10 per hour
