Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids Maple Valley/Black Diamond NEW SALON, is an upscale children's salon. As a premier provider of children’s haircuts, Sharkey's is the place to be. We strive to provide professional services in a fun and exciting environment by friendly and experienced staff members. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!" Our salon specialists should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Greet all guests and provide friendly, prompt, and exceptional service
- Manages the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flow
- Sell hair care products and keep retail shelves stocked
- Maintains health and safety of customers by following the laws and rules set forth by the state board of cosmetology/barbering
- Ensure the store is clean and tidy
- Assist stylists with washing and drying hair, cleaning up between appointments, doing mini-cures (painting nails)
- Report to Salon Manager and/or Salon Owner
Requirements:
- Outgoing and Agile
- Wear a smile
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Cosmetology license optional
Benefits: No late nights. Fun environment! Must be available on Weekends as well.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.97 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
