Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of hair styling services such as cutting and styling based on client requests.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment to ensure client safety and satisfaction.
- Utilize strong communication skills to consult with clients and recommend appropriate hair care products and services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to offer innovative services to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and deliver a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- Customer service skills
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon setting
- Valid cosmetology license
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in barbering techniques
- Familiarity with POS salon software
- Retail sales experience
- Ability to mentor and train others in hair styling techniques
- Upselling skills and retail math knowledge
- Makeup application and nail care expertise
- Ability to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean salon environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 32 per week
