Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair care and styling, with a flair for creativity and an eye for detail. As a Hair Stylist, you will provide exceptional services to clients while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to store management.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
- Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair extensions as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon environment.
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that suit clients’ needs.
- Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment management and client records.
- Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge on techniques, color theory, and retail math.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, color theory, and styling trends.
- Experience with front desk operations and retail sales is a plus.
- Ability to perform eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair extensions is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.98 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
