Control Systems Engineering Co-op
Work Period : July Through Mid December
Location : Needham, MA Onsite 5 Days a Week. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Control Systems Engineering Co-op to join our team. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be involved in the development of control systems and mechatronic systems for various consumer product applications.
Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and test control systems for consumer product applications.
- Develop and maintain control system documentation, including functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement control solutions.
- Design and program control systems using programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and C .
- Develop and implement control algorithms such as classical control (e.g., PID) and advanced control (e.g., MPC) for real-time control applications.
- Design and implement control systems using Arduino and other microcontrollers.
