Job Summary
We are a small company locally operated on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team here at Sharky Hearts Behavior Support Services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, possess strong analytical skills, and be passionate about making a positive impact through behavioral therapy.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention strategies to support clients with developmental disabilities
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other professionals involved in the client's care
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to modify behaviors and improve social skills
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis and behavioral therapy techniques
- Ability to conduct data collection and analysis for patient care purposes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and caregivers
Requirements:
-Must have active BCBA certification and licensure
-If not located on Hawaii Island then must be willing to relocate within the next 3 months
Preferred:
-CPR/BLS Certified
-QBS Trained
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
